I want to be clear that despite the name, this isn’t a program designed for someone who's never set foot in the gym before. Here's what you need before you gets started:
- To be comfortable squatting, bench pressing, and deadlifting with good (not necessarily perfect) form
- To have used a linear program like 5x5 or Stronglifts, and stuck with that until it stopped working for you
- To have access to a barbell, chin-up bar, and plenty of weights
